Alexandria, VA -- The Council for Affordable Health Insurance is pleased to announce that Brian F. McManus has joined the organization as Director of Federal Affairs.

"Brian McManus brings years of health insurance and government affairs experience to CAHI," said CAHI's Executive Director Dr. Merrill Matthews. "He is one of the country's strongest defenders of freedom and choice in the health care system, and will be a tremendous asset as we begin a nationwide debate on health care reform."

Mr. McManus is replacing Angela Hunter, who after 12 years with CAHI, decided to retire.
