"The Complete HSA Guidebook" is a reference book that
contains all of the details you need to establish and manage a Health
Savings Account (HSA). Developed with consumers, insurance professionals
and benefits consultants in mind, "The Complete HSA Guidebook"
walks you through everything from HSA basics, such as what they
are and how to set one up, to information on HSA laws and regulations,
all in a user-friendly format.
About the Authors
The Guidebook was authored by HealthEquity
CEO and co-founder Stephen Neeleman, MD, and renowned authors Hazel
Witte, J.D., and Sophie Korczyk, Ph.D. In addition to his duties
with HealthEquity,
Neeleman is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and a practicing general
and trauma surgeon at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Witte
and Korczyk previously authored "The Complete Idiot's Guide
to Managed Health Care" (Macmillan 1998).
"In authoring The Guidebook, our goal was to write a book that
was very user friendly and could help explain the HSA law in a simple
and straightforward way," says Neeleman. "As a practicing physician,
I believe that HSAs provide the best opportunity to save health
care from becoming an inefficient, costly, poor-service government
program."
