CAHI Issues: Price Transparency
Consumers need access to price information if they are going to make good decisions. Yet the health care system historically has been very reluctant to provide that information. No where is this more evident than when the uninsured go to the hospital and get hit with a bill that is often three or four times what an insured person would pay, or more. This has to change.
